COMPANY HISTORY
Shanghai Ehong Capital Co., Ltd. founded in 2007, is an equity investment institution and early practitioner of impact investing in China.
Since its establishment, Ehong Capital has held itself to standards of a SRI institution by employing negative screening practices. From 2007 to 2012, Ehong Capital mainly invested in finance, TMT, new energy and materials, and modern agriculture.
From 2012 onwards, under the guidance of global sustainable development agenda and core characteristics of impact investing, Ehong Capital has formed an impact investing strategy that relies on top-down analysis of most relevant social and environmental problems that can be solved with business solutions. The areas of focus include but not limit to sustainable agriculture, clean energy, waste, health and elderly-care, and quality education.
In 2018, Ehe Impact Fund was established with a charity foundation being its cornerstone LP.
With several successful exits, Ehong Capital has achieved competitive returns for its investors and generated significant social and environmental benefits in reducing GHG emission, alleviating poverty, supporting vulnerable groups and providing employment and education opportunities.
Due to its outstanding performance, Ehong Capital was awarded the Annual Investment Institution Award of China Social Enterprise and Impact Investment in 2017 as the first ever to receive this honor.

Yongguang XU
More than 25 years of experience in capital market and equity investment. Established Ehong Capital in 2007, and have specialised in Impact Investment in people’s livelihood sector since. Established and managed National Future Exchange (pilot) in the 1990s. Completed more than 30 M&A and equity investment deals since 2002. Served as the executive direct of the China Youth Develop-ment Foundation (aka Hope Project) and was responsible for the organization’s asset management. Dr. TANG graduated from Renmin University of China and the Graduate School of the Chinese Acad-emy of Social Science.
Dr. Ronghan TANG
Experienced investment expert in China’s securities market, with extensive experience in value in-vesting, corporate governance and investment risk management. Served as the executive president of Shenzhen Golden Palm Defu Investment since 2009. Before that he served as the general manager of Shenzhen Innovative Port Investment, and headed various senior management roles at Shenzhen Stock Exchange and other securities companies. Master of Finance, graduated from Renmin University of China and the Graduate School of PBOC.
Yao ZHANG
Managing Partner of Zhejiang T&C Law Firm, Director of T&C Shanghai Office, Adjunct Professor of ECUPL. 30+ yrs experience in financial law; areas of practice including securities, cross-border M&A, international project financing, private equity, and business law; services covering due diligence, transaction process, project negotiation, and letter of legal opinion for domestic and overseas IPOs, bond issuances, private equity investments, M&A, and international projects. LL.M. from IUPUI, M.Fin from ZJU, LL.B. from ECUPL; licenses in securities law and state-owned property rights appraisal.
Xiaoqing WANG, Lawyer
Chairman of Hong Kong Hongying Investment Group. Served as senior manager of the Southern In-dustry Group of the Chinese Academy of Science. Served as executives of Stone Group and pioneered its securities and futures business. Co-founded the United Securities. Has been involved in high-tech venture capital investment with rich experiences in Internet, BigData, and media industries in the past decade.
Zhou TANG
Well known blockchain expert formerly with Huawei, American ACM Practitioner Board member, CEO and founder of American Distributed Business Application Company, China Electronics Society Blockchain Expert Committee member, and US CISSP (ISC Registration Information System Security Expert). Master of Computer Science, graduate from Xi’an Jiaotong University and University of Lausanne.
Lianjin HUANG
General Manager of Fund Management at Four Rivers Equity Investment. Served as Vice President of Regional Management - APAC for Moody’s Investors Services; TMT Head Global Corporate Banking China at J.P. Morgan, leading Chinese enterprises in their drives towards globalization by serving their financial needs at both strategic and transactional levels; held various positions at HSBC, China Construction Bank and the China National Audit Office. Bachelor in Economics from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Master in Accounting and Finance from the University of Birmingham (UK).
Emma WANG
Foucus: Internal Risk Control and Post-Investment Management. Served in law firms, future exchanges, securities companies and concurrently served as directors at various companies’ boards with rich experience in investment risk control and corporate governance. Lawyer, Master of Economics, graduated from Jilin University and Fudan University School of Busi-ness Administration.
Yang SHENG
Focus: Health & Eldercare and Quality Education Served as investment manager, vice president, senior vice president at Ehong Capital and has previously worked at Digital Marketing Department of Accenture.
